The vineyard was named after a small place of prayer, an oratory, was dedicated to Saint Mark, who is considered the protector of vineyards. The wine’s name, Clos de l’Oratoire des Papes, and the legendary label date back to 1926. The wine has been aged for 12 months in approximately
30-year-old oak barrels. A rich flavour with notes of currant, blackberry, dark cherry and black pepper, and gentle notes of oak.

Penedès, Catalonia, Spain. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The internationally best known red “flagship” of Torres was first produced in 1970. In the “Red Wine Olympics” organised by the Gault & Millau magazine in 1979, Mas la Plana proved equal with the 1970 Château Latour and 1961 Château Haut-Brion, among others. The wine expresses the special characteristics of the soil, the old Cabernet Sauvignon vines and, in particular, the microclimate of Pacs del Penedès in a clean and impressive fashion. The wine developed for 18 months in new French 300-litre Nevers and Tronçais oak barrels. The mouthfeel is exceptionally rich, supported by soft and juicy tannins, which is promising for the development of the wine. A long and elegant finish with notes of coffee and mint.

Classic cocktails Classic cocktails Although many claim to have been the inventor of this drink, the true credit can actually be traced back to British bartender legend Dick Bradsell. He invented the drink at a club in the 1980s when the owner asked for a drink that would both wake them up and get them drunk.
This elegant drink was created by Douglas Ankrah at the LAB bar in London in the early 2000s. Its flavour consists of a practically sinful combination of vodka, passionfruit and vanilla.
This modern classic was reportedly created in 1974. In the hot 1980s, it was known as “the disco drink”. A perfect combination of notes of nuts and sweet and sour flavours that creates an exciting taste.
The origin of the Negroni is strongly debated. There are two competing stories concerning the origin of the cocktail, both related to a namesake – either Count Camillo Negroni or General Pascal Olivier de Negroni de Cardi, Comte de Negroni. The drink combines gin, Campari and red vermouth in equal amounts.
