S-Etukortti in Apple Wallet now works in all S Group restaurants and cafes. Android phone users have been able to earn Bonus at restaurants for a longer time already.

"The implementations began on May Day and progressed as planned as restaurant payment terminals were replaced with new ones during summer and early autumn. Our goal was to have everything ready before the Christmas party season, and we succeeded in this," rejoices Acting Customer Relationship Director Toni Kopra from SOK.

The new way to accumulate Bonus and utilize S-Etukortti benefits has been well received in restaurants.

"For example, at restaurant Stensvik, which opened in Kivenlahti, Espoo in spring, the mobile card was the most popular way to earn Bonus in July. Also, at many summer terraces, a significant portion of summer bonus transactions were recorded using phones," Kopra says.

One million Finns have added S-Etukortti to their phones, and for many of them, the mobile card has almost completely replaced the plastic one. This change has happened in a short time, as the card could only be added to Apple devices since spring last year.

In the feedback from customers using their phones for Bonus, one particular wish has been repeated, which will be fulfilled in the near future.

"This feature is coming to the Collect and Scan service, as our customers have requested. We cannot yet provide an exact date, but testing is currently underway. Once we are certain that everything works as planned, the scanner will be available with the S-Etukortti on your phone," Kopra explains.

Earning Bonus with a card in Apple Wallet is not yet possible at S Group hotel receptions, as implementations there will begin later. With Android devices, Bonus can already be earned at hotels at this stage.
