Welcome to celebrate May Day / vappu at NORD Restaurant on Friday, 1 May 2026, from 12:00 to 22:00.

May Day brings the brightest flavours of spring to the table.
At NORD, we celebrate the occasion with a menu where the finest ingredients from Nordic nature meet the freshness of the season.
On the plate, you’ll find the purity of the sea, the depth of the forest, and the clarity of the fields – prepared in the NORD way: simple, thoughtful and balanced.

The meal begins with a glass of sparkling wine to set the tone for the celebration. As a starter, carrot takes on a fresh new form as a tartare, where sweetness, crisp apple acidity and a gentle hint of horseradish come together.

For the main course, you may choose between slowly braised beef with rich accompaniments or pan-fried perch, where the clean flavours of the sea are complemented by a classic sauce and dill potatoes.

For dessert, a familiar favourite receives a new interpretation: “blueberry pie” – almond cake served with vanilla ice cream and fresh blueberries, finishing the meal with a light, springlike touch.

Vappu at NORD is an invitation to pause, enjoy the flavours of the season and spend time in good company.
