Restaurant on top of Helsinki since 1947
Restaurant 10. Kerros (10th Floor) is a functional classic operating on the roof of Hotel Vaakuna, and modernized in 2020. Vaakuna's restaurants opened in 1947, the hotel later in 1952 for the Olympic Games in Helsinki. The hotel-restaurant is a masterpiece of the functionalist style with its curved shapes, different forms of wood architecture and abundant light sources.
For more than 70 years, this unique location on the city's rooftop has seen royal splendor and beauty queens, served the first Coca-Cola and world famous long drinks, held Disco nights, and served delicious food. Today the restaurant's stylish facilities are ideal place for coffee, lunch, dinner, parties and meetings.
The menu is based on clear, high quality ingredients and respect for traditional cooking methods. The menu includes portions from smoked shrimp to full three-course menus – something for everyone looking either for a casual evening meal or a formal dinner.
Stunning views of Helsinki accompanied with lively green plants and design details create the restaurant's unique atmosphere. Restaurant facilities on the 10. Kerros consist of a lounge, a restaurant, a summer terrace, conference rooms, a banquet restaurant and a terrace sauna. The versatile spaces are suitable for a variety of purposes, from cozy coffee moments to splendid gala dinners.
