FINLAND'S HARDEST ACTION ROCK BAND KISSA RETURNS TO ROCK CLUBS IN SPRING 2026, TOUR KICKS OFF AT FREETIME IN JYVÄSKYLÄ
The sense of danger makes its anticipated return to Finnish rock music as Kissa, releasing a new album next February, returns to the stage. During the I HATE TOURING tour in spring 2026, the band will be seen for the first time in a long-awaited full-length concert at Lepakkomies in Helsinki – and for two consecutive nights!
Kissa's upcoming album I Hate Music is an unbridled package of rock'n'roll danger, fiery playing, and catchy choruses. The band's guitarist-vocalist Günter Kivioja comments on the album to be released on February 13, 2026:
"The new album is the long-awaited gift to the world from the royalty of rock music. Groundbreaking compositions and lyrics that are insightful, profound high literature at its best," Kivioja states.
Kissa is a Helsinki-based rock band operating in the space between street rock and power pop, offering the catchiest domestic rock music and most electric live energy of the moment. The debut album Vaarallinen bändi (2021) rose to number 7 on Finland's official physical album chart, and Näkemiin Apinalinna (2023) placed third and was nominated for an Emma Award. With the release of POP // ROCK (2025), Kissa was said to "make catchy rock better than anyone else in Finland right now" (Helsingin Sanomat). The band has also been awarded a Rock-femma and nominated for the Indie Awards.
