Sauna Restaurant Kaihu

The Sauna Restaurant Kaihu is located in Mikkelipuisto, just a stone's throw away from Mikkeli's market square. Floating on the clear lake waters, Sauna Restaurant Kaihu offers a great experience. The wooden architecture of the venue and its timeless design details blend seamlessly into the area's scenic and culturally historic environment.

The sauna restaurant consists of two saunas with changing rooms, a lounge bar, and a summer rooftop terrace. There are separate changing rooms for men and women, each with lockers for 30 people. The sauna area itself is a unisex "swimwear sauna." Each sauna can accommodate approximately 14 people at a time. Between sauna sessions, guests can cool off on the sauna terrace or take a dip in the eight-person refreshing pool. In winter, guests can also cool off directly in the ice-cold plunge pool. The lounge bar serves refreshing drinks and small snacks for sauna guests. Both the sauna and the lounge bar are available for private bookings almost any day and time. Together with the neighboring restaurant Greeneri, Sauna Restaurant Kaihu can accommodate almost any event, whether casual or festive.

The rooftop terrace, located on the second floor of the sauna restaurant, is open from early spring to late autumn. Part of the terrace is covered and serves as a percolation area, while another part is directly exposed to sunlight. The restaurant's menu offers a variety of summer treats, both in drink and food form. The rooftop terrace is always open to guests, whether it's a sauna day or not. On summer weekends, live DJs help set the atmosphere on the terrace.
