Steak and Beer Sauce from the local brewery

Puraise pala Saimaata -series is a tribute for local ingredients and producers around lake Saimaa. This autumn the series continues for its third season already.

This autumn's dish combines a tender beef steak with roasted root vegetables and caramelized onions, served with a sauce made from beer brewed by the local Karvila Brewery. The bitterness of the beer balances the dish beautifully and enhances the rich flavors of the season. Did you know that these beers are brewed in Enonkoski using pure water from the brewery's own spring?
