Summer is here! Gunnar Backyard is a lush inner courtyard terrace, open during the terrace season when weather permits. This sheltered and atmospheric backyard offers a relaxed setting to enjoy drinks and good company in the middle of the city.

On a beautiful summer day, you can slip into our green terrace for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Gunnar Backyard is located in the courtyard of Solo Sokos Hotel Seurahuone.

Enter through the flower gate on Humalistonkatu and make your way up to this oasis. You can also access the terrace through Gunnar’s indoor spaces. There is step-free access via elevator.

On a beautiful summer morning, you can enjoy a luxurious Solo breakfast at Backyard. Guests who are not staying at the hotel are also welcome.

Breakfast is accessed through the hotel entrance (Humalistonkatu). The breakfast buffet is served at Gunnar Upstairs on the 2nd floor. We recommend making a reservation, and if you wish to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, please mention it when booking.

At the charming courtyard, you can also enjoy Turun Seurahuone’s popular brunch. The lovely pergola can accommodate larger groups as well. What could be a more relaxing way to start, for example, a bachelorette day? When booking brunch, it’s also good to mention if you prefer seating on the terrace.
