The downstairs of Kellotorni is ideal for cosy events for small groups up to 16 people. A dinner in this intense historic venue is unforgettable.

Within the shelter of Olavinlinna Castle’s sturdy walls, Restaurant Linnantupa serves delicious lunches and café treats made by our cooks during the summer season.

During the opening hours of the castle, the access to Restaurant Linnantupa is free, so you can enjoy our services without buying an entry ticket to the castle.

Outside the summer season, Restaurant Linnantupa organises special events, which we announce in advance. (For example, Mother’s and Father’s Day, May Day). At other times, Linnantupa is available for private functions as a meeting or event space up to 60 people.

The Congress Hall is a magnificent, versatile and modernised space sheltered by the sturdy walls of a medieval castle.

In the congress hall, you can organize a meeting, a party, a cocktail event, a concert or even a marriage ceremony.

With different table formats, we can organize an event for both smaller and larger groups in the Congress Hall.

The excellent acoustics of the hall enable a successful sound environment for many different events.

The Internet connection works best in the Congress halls of the castle, despite the thick walls.

For the meeting, you can choose, for example, coffee with sweet or savoury pastries, a half-day or a full-day package. The meeting package includes catering, space rent during Olavinlinna Castle's opening hours, meeting hostess services, technology and VAT. In meeting catering, a uniform choice for the whole party. Special diets will be taken into account according to advance notice.

WEDDING AT OLAVINLINNA CASTLE

The magnificent, medieval Olavinlinna Castle provides an unforgettable setting for a wedding.

We plan the wedding with you and ensure that the day is exactly what you are looking for.

You can book one or more halls or even the whole castle for your wedding!

You can also organise your wedding ceremony at the Olavinlinna Chapel (40–50 people) or the Kongressisali venue (90 people).

The old steamboat with its special atmosphere is a stylish way to arrive at the castle.

Travelling to a medieval castle on board a steamboat to spend a joyful evening is unique even by international standards!

Dining is organised either as plated table service or a buffet.

You can book the entire castle for a private function outside the opening hours of the museum and the opera season for €1680/day.

You will have the use of Kuninkaansali, Kongressisali, Keskushalli, Kellotornin alakerta and Linnantupa as well as the terraces.

When you book just a section of the castle, the hire depends on the venue.
