Tauro is a flexible event space designed to host a variety of occasions such as meetings, private parties, and corporate events. The venue comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests and is equipped with a video projector and screen for meetings.

Located in the heart of Joensuu, Tauro is part of Restaurant Torero and offers a central and easily accessible setting for your event.

The space also serves as the hotel’s breakfast room and is separated from the main restaurant area with curtains, ensuring a private and cozy atmosphere. Tauro is an ideal choice for small to medium-sized groups looking for a warm and adaptable venue for any type of event.

A private buffet can be arranged to provide your guests with a diverse and delicious dining experience. You can find buffet menu options in our main menu selection.

The glass cabinet is a light-filled room on the second floor, offering a comfortable setting for meetings, private gatherings, or small celebrations. The space is also suitable for dining, making it a versatile choice for various occasions.

The room is equipped with basic meeting facilities, including an HDMI cable and a TV (bring your own laptop). Music can be turned off completely if desired, creating a calm atmosphere for work or private events.

Lasikabinetti combines privacy, natural light, and Torero’s warm ambiance. Please note that the space is not wheelchair accessible.

Catering services can be arranged for your event upon request.

Torero’s sauna facilities offer the perfect setting for relaxation and spending time together. Guests can enjoy a traditional sauna, a steam sauna, and a relaxing hot tub, all designed to create a calm and enjoyable atmosphere.

The Torero sauna is an excellent place to unwind before dinner, conclude a meeting in style before an evening meal, or gather with friends. It is ideal for bachelor or hen -parties, birthdays, or simply a great evening out.

The warmth of the sauna, the peaceful ambiance, and Torero’s services make the experience easy and enjoyable – without unnecessary hassle. After the sauna, the evening naturally continues in the restaurant with great food and drinks.

Torero’s private sauna is available for groups with ready-made sauna packages. There are four different packages, starting from €14 per person, including sauna access (2–3 hours) and towels. Some packages also include drinks or food. Sauna beverages are charged based on consumption. Please note that the sauna area is a licensed serving area, and bringing your own drinks is not permitted.

The sauna space can be used without a separate venue rental fee when a sauna package is pre-booked and the group size is at least 10 people. For smaller groups, the venue rental is determined according to the selected sauna package. Additional time can be booked for €60 per hour.

Available sauna times:

16:00–19:00 or 19:00–22:00
