Ring in the New Year in a relaxed atmosphere at Break Sokos Hotel Bomba, where you can enjoy fireworks, unwind at the spa, indulge in delicious menus, and experience winter through Bomba Safaris excursions!

Treat yourself at our restaurants

The turn of the year is best celebrated with good food! Break Sokos Hotel Bomba offers three different restaurants: Frans & Emma, Buolu Cafe & Ristorante, and ravintola Bomba.

Frans & Emma is open on New Year's Eve from 4 PM to 1 AM (kitchen closes at 10:30 PM) and on New Year's Day from 4 PM to 11 PM (kitchen closes at 10:30 PM). You can check out Frans & Emma's menu and make a table reservation here.

Buolu Café & Ristorante is open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day from 12 PM to 10 PM. At Buolu, you'll find pizzas, burgers, and café services. No table reservation needed at Buolu – just drop by, order at the counter, and take a seat!

Ravintola Bomba serves hungry guests on New Year's Eve from 6 PM to 10 PM. However, Bomba's main hall and Oluttupa are open until 2 AM on New Year's Eve. DJ Miki will be setting the mood in the 2nd floor party hall, and on the Oluttupa side, karaoke will keep the singing going into the early hours. Welcome!

Relax at Bomba

Spa Bomba is perfect for the whole family! Unwind in the outdoor hot tubs while admiring the view of Lake Pielinen, or splash around in the indoor pools and relax in our sauna world. Spa Bomba is open on New Year's Eve, December 31st, from 10 AM to 8 PM, when the whole family can enjoy the spa's warmth. Adults can continue enjoying the spa from 8 PM to 10 PM, when the spa is open only for those over 18.

How about starting the morning with a refreshing dip in the ice hole and relaxing in the sauna? At Bomba, you can enjoy the ice hole and morning sauna on New Year's Day, January 1st, from 7 AM to 8:30 AM for €10/person. At the end of our long pier, you'll find the ice hole, which you can access directly from our spa sauna. The spa is also open on New Year's Day from 10 AM to 10 PM (18+ from 8 PM to 10 PM).

Bomba Safaris New Year

A winter wonderland awaits adventurers. Through Bomba Safaris, you can join guided excursions or rent equipment for independent adventures from the Safari House. If you get excited and want to explore the surrounding nature more thoroughly, you can rent snowshoes from the Safari House or from Bomba Safaris' online store. Opens in a new tab

Traditional sledding is a fun way to spend the day with the whole family. Bomba Safaris provides sleds for sledding on New Year's Eve, and in front of the Safari House, the grill will be warming up where you can buy sausages and hot juice (card payment only) to warm up between winter activities.

Children can enjoy bouncing at Bomba Safaris' own Pomppurieha, where you'll find a bouncy castle and various games and equipment. Children play under guardian supervision at Pomppurieha. Pomppurieha is located on the 2nd floor of Kalevan hovi Safari House and is open on New Year's Eve, December 31st, from 10 AM to 7 PM, and on New Year's Day, January 1st, from 10 AM to 4 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Safari House.

Fireworks crown the celebration!

The New Year celebration naturally culminates in fireworks on New Year's Eve, December 31st. Bomba will host two different fireworks displays so that both the little ones and adults can enjoy the spectacular colors.

Adults' fireworks at midnight - best viewed from ravintola Frans & Emma, Aurinkoterassi and Järvisiipi, as well as from in front of Kalevan hovi.
