Did you know that you can hire Olavinlinna Castle for a private function after the National Museum has closed for the day? Outside the summer season, it means from 4pm to late at night. In June and July, the castle is occupied by the Opera Festival, but in August all weekday evenings after 6pm are also available.

You will have the use of Kuninkaansali, Kongressisali, Keskushalli, Kellotornin alakerta and Linnantupa. Whether you are organising a 50th birthday party, wedding, corporate event or a friend’s hen or stag party, the castle stages any event with its almost 600 years of catering experience.

Our sales service is happy to customise the event with you. Do not hesitate to contact us so we can get started with planning your unforgettable evening. We can also organise entertainment for your event, including live music, dance, tours in the dark, a magician... The possibilities are endless! Meals, both a dinner and maybe a night snack, bars and other drinks services are easy to organise via out Sales Service. The castle hire is €1,680 (incl. VAT)/evening, the minimum cost for catering is €5,000 (incl. VAT)/event.

The old steamboat with its special atmosphere is a stylish way to arrive at the castle. Travelling to a medieval castle on board a steamboat to spend a joyful evening is unique even by international standards!
