Canyon Lights is one of the most interesting new names in the blues rock scene. Canyon Lights is coming to Finland for the first time, bringing a powerful combination of classic rock'n'roll, blues, and americana. The band's music draws from the 1970s rock tradition but brings a fresh and personal approach to it. At the core of Canyon Lights are singer-guitarist Pat Faherty and drummer Tim Carman, previously known from the successful blues band GA-20. In 2023, Faherty and Carman began working on new music inspired by 70s rock bands such as Mountain, Thin Lizzy, and James Gang. This led to the birth of a new band where blues roots combine with a freer and genre-breaking expression. In live performances, Canyon Lights operates as a trio, also featuring versatile musician Heather Gillis. Canyon Lights' Finnish debut offers the audience a unique opportunity to experience a rising international blues rock band that seamlessly combines the past and present.
