A two-day city festival bringing together local and regional artists, performers, writers and cultural actors.
Vaasa Weekend highlights the rich cultural life of Vaasa and Ostrobothnia and creates new encounters between the audience, creators and different art forms.

The festival spreads across multiple event venues in Vaasa city centre. The heart of the event is Vaasa Market Square, where the weekend's biggest experiences take place. In addition to the square, the programme is organised at venues such as Ritz, Rewell and restaurants in the city centre.

The main event of Vaasa Weekend is Saturday's main concert at Vaasa Market Square, featuring top performers. The stage will welcome Dingo, One Desire, Patrik Isaksson and Patrik Linman, among others. The evening will be hosted and performed by Krista Siegfrids.

On Friday, the much-anticipated return of Waasa Band Jam at the square brings together local musicians for a joint evening where surprises and collaboration take centre stage.

Vaasa Weekend is a tribute to local creativity, community spirit and different forms of culture. The event invites both locals and visitors from further afield to experience the city at its best. Welcome to spend a weekend where Vaasa shows its cultural strength.
