Wiklund is being renovated
Prisma will open at Wiklund in autumn 2026, and Sokos will be renovated at the same time. In addition, ELIXIA will open a premium-level gym on the third floor of Wiklund in autumn 2026. The grand opening of the renovated Wiklund will be celebrated at the end of 2026. Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund with its restaurants is part of Wiklund Centre.
Renovation work at Wiklund has begun. Prisma's groceries will be located mainly in the current S-market premises on the ground floor, and non-food items on the street level. Sokos's women's clothing and footwear selection will move to the second floor of Wiklund by the end of summer, forming a renovated fashion and home concept. Sokos's renovated cosmetics section can be found on the street level in the future. Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund, Trattoria, Coffee House, Hesburger and Walo Rooftop Bar will continue to serve at the renovated Wiklund.
Impact of renovation work on the hotel and meeting services
Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund will operate normally during the construction and renovation work. Wiklund's Wirta meeting services will be open again from 3 August 2026.
During the escalator renovation, access to the 3rd floor is only via Sokos and hotel elevators.
