Wiklund is being renovated in 2026

A Prisma will open at Wiklund in autumn 2026, and Sokos will be renovated at the same time. Additionally, ELIXIA will open a premium-level fitness center on the third floor of Wiklund in autumn 2026. The opening of the renovated Wiklund will be celebrated at the end of 2026. Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund with its restaurants is part of the Wiklund Center.

Renovation work at Wiklund has begun. Prisma's groceries will be located mainly in the current S-market space in the basement, and consumer goods on the street level. Sokos' women's clothing and footwear selection will move to the second floor of Wiklund by the end of summer, forming a renewed fashion and home concept. Sokos' renovated cosmetics department will be found on the street level in the future. Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund, Trattoria, Coffee House, Hesburger, and Walo Rooftop Bar will continue to serve customers in the renovated Wiklund.

Effects of renovation work on the hotel and meeting services

Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund will operate normally during the construction and renovation work. Noise from construction will only occur during daytime.

During the Wiklund Center renovation, Wiklund's Wirta meeting services will be closed. Organizing events will be possible again from August 3, 2026.
