Our pizza dough is made of finely ground Italian 00 wheat flour using our own recipe that has been developed together with the Tampere-based Leivon Leipomo bakery. The dough is fermented in the cold for 72 hours before used to bake pizzas in a traditional Italian pizza oven heated with Finnish birch. All of our pizzas come with carefully selected cheese and Puisto’s own tomato sauce that took over 200 litres of chopped tomatoes to develop. If you wish, you can replace the tomato sauce with mascarpone and pesto sauce or herb oil. The pizza crust is also available as gluten-free. However, all the pizzas are baked in the same oven, so the gluten-free pizza crust may contain small amounts of wheat.

MARGHERITA 1971 (V, LL)

The Margherita 1971 pizza is an homage to the premises where Puisto is now located that have housed a restaurant since 1971 when Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa Co-op opened a restaurant called Koskipuisto. Margherita, the mother of all pizzas, has also been an integral part of the milieu for decades.
