The calendar of events forming the Tallinn Marathon, the biggest popular sports events in Estonia, will be taking place from 7-9 September. The team from Sokos Hotels Tallinn will be taking part in this year's marathon.

In honour of the centenary of Estonia, the 2018 event will be truly national in flavour: everyone taking part is being encouraged to dress in blue, black and white, the colours of the Estonian flag. The running shirts in the national colours for sale online at www.sinimustvalge.ee have proven so popular that additional stock has been ordered. The shirts can also be purchased by spectators and fans of Estonia to help set the tone(s) for the marathon of the century and the country's centenary.

Everyone who completes this year's Tallinn Marathon and Autumn Fun Run will be awarded a medal featuring a cornflower motif designed especially for the nation's anniversary. For the first time, medals will also be awarded to those who complete the 10 km course in the Tallinn Marathon, whether walking, Nordic walking or running. Marathon runners will be awarded gold-coloured medals, half-marathon runners silver-coloured medals and 10 km participants bronze-coloured medals, all hanging from a blue, black and white ribbon. There will also be medals for the first time for little runners taking part in the children's races.
