Finland Ice Marathon is one of Finland's oldest ice skating events on natural ice. The race centre is in the harbour of Kuopio, catering to participants with activities and comprehensive facilities.
The Kuopio Music Centre offers versatile and high-class music experiences for the friends of music. The Kuopio City Orchestra brings to the concert hall stage almost weekly international level conductor and soloist guests and the stars of the Finnish entertainment sky regularly visit the Kuopio Music Centre on their tours.
Kuopio Dance Festival is the oldest and largest dance festival in Nordic Countries. It was founded in 1970 and is held in June each year. The festival presents the new trends in the world of dance. For one week you can see international dance stars, as well as the best Finnish talent. The festival week consists of about 100 different proposal, dance courses, open-air event, artist interviews, square dances and other auxiliary programs.

Anti Festival works with innovative artists on projects that explore and explode urban space. ANTI began life in 2002. Since then we've produce 18 editions of ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival and have established a year-round programme of artist residencies and cultural projects and events. The next festival will take place between 8th and 13th September 2020.

Kuopio Wine Festival
Kuopio Wine Festival is one of the biggest wine and foodfestival in Finland. Kuopio Wine Festival will be organized for the 24th time in 2020.

Kuopiorock Festival rocks in Väinölänniemi, near the hotel from July 30 to August 1, 2020.
